How I got started
I began sewing in 2008 as a hobby. Over time I have learned a lot of tricks and tips and my sewing has come a long way. I began a small etsy shop in 2010 which has grown significantly over the last several years.
I am a mom of three, dance mom, runner, guinea pig owner and nurse practitioner. I like to sew items for various parts of my life. I started making costume bags for my own kids which turned into costume bags for their friends, then dance bags, then dance costumes. I made running shirts for my own family then started making them for other people. My list of items grows as people ask me to make things for them.
On November 6, 2014 I received a heart transplant at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. I am doing very well and continue to recover. Created by Laura was born in 2015 after I decided to take a break from being a nurse practitioner and pursue sewing as a full time business.
I hope you enjoy looking at my items. I’d be happy to make something for you!
